DuVernay’s stellar group of experts, including Angela Davis, Michelle Alexander, Bryan Stevenson and Van Jones, walk you through the steps from slavery to Jim Crow to the exploding prison-industrial complex and the devastating impact it’s had on communities of color. There’s also a chilling segment on Donald Trump that is required viewing for anyone who doesn’t understand why so many communities are terrified at his election victory.
